Luke Smith serves as Assistant Professor in Physics at National Cheng Kung University, having joined the faculty in 2022. Luke received his bachelors and master’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Oxford, U.K., and PhD in Physics from the University of Cambridge, U.K. His expertise range from quantum transport and device physics, nanoscale fabrication, two-dimensional (2D) materials, quantum computing and spintronics, and the scalability of quantum devices using multiplexing schemes. His research interests include the design and performance of 2D FETs, the array fabrication and scalability of 2D devices, and their circuit level integration.
