TITLE

Neutral Atom Quantum Computing

ABSTRACT

Quantum computing platforms based on single-atom array trapped by optical tweezers have recently emerged as a competitive modality due to a direct path toward high qubit count, rapidly advancing gate fidelity, and their ability to execute quantum circuits with arbitrary qubit connectivity. Significant progresses have been made towards fault-tolerant universal quantum computing. As an example, a recent work utilizing quantum error correction demonstrated that logical quantum information (quantum memory) can be maintained in such a system of over 3 minutes, even though underlying physical qubits have lifetimes of 10 seconds [1]. In this talk, I will introduce the basic principle and status of quantum computing based on neutral atoms, as well as our development along this direction and future plan.
