Congratulations! Prof. Yeong-Cherng Liang received “Academia Sinica Early-Career Investigator Research Achievement Award" in 2020

  Prof. Yeong-Cherng Liang, one of our member received “Academia Sinica Early-Career Investigator Research Achievement Award" in 2020.

  This year, there are a total of 10 awardees: 4 from the Division of Mathematics and Physical Sciences, 2 from the Division of Life Sciences, and 4 from the Division of Humanities and Social Sciences. 

  This award encourages young scholars in Taiwan to publish papers that make major contributions to their research fields. A total of 90 applications were received this year: 43 from the Division of Mathematics and Physical Sciences, 17 from the Division of Life Sciences, and 30 from the Division of Humanities and Social Sciences. All submissions were strictly reviewed through pre-screening, initial review, secondary review, and final review. Intense competition resulted in the selection of outstanding awardees.
